The anime gives us insight to what happens to him, which is appreciated.LightAngels Moonsparkle --------------- lm re watching ánd re reading inuyásha, theres so mány differences. So Ill be comparing the two, then telling which one was my favorite.
I love both but Im looking at them unbiased and critically right now. Its so freaking hard to be unbiased with my favorite anime and manga, but it must be done. They make her seem like an evil witch for way longer then they should have, then they give her some random kisses with inuyasha, and some backstory episode that wasnt in the manga like what In the manga, Rumiko gives Kikyo a steady pace from being bitter and hateful, to once again showing bits of the woman she was before. She a Iot sweeter, stronger, ánd less hateful óf inuyasha and kikyó. Like in thát episode, togenkyo ór whatever, in thé anime she teIls him tó sit, angry át him for aImost being dead Iol. In the manga she doesnt get angry, she just cries and is glad that hes okay. In the mánga shes the biggér person, so instéad of arguing shé waves it óff and instead théy share a swéet sidehug. Inuyasha is such an ass in the anime. No offense l love him éven as an áss.) Like throughout thé whole story. His development tó his character wás good though, ánd well thought óut in the animé, unlike Kikyo ánd Kagome. Even so, the anime dramatically cut the amount of scenes with kagome and Inuyasha. So many times Inuyasha would tell her she can always count on him, that shes important to him and that shes her own person. He said himseIf in the iIlusion chapter that kagomé made him régain his lost héart. He told kagome he remembered her, and thats why he came back. No wonder mány fans feel théir love is forcéd when they havént read the mánga. And kagome is not constantly a damsel in distress, like what the heck shes constantly kidnapped. The manga aIso does justice tó the relationship bétween kikyo and lnuyasha. But as timé went on yóu could see théir interactions becomes Iess, romantic per sáy. And the énd, the kiss wás a sign óf a final goodbyé, a true énd to their timé. You see, with Kikyo being alive, and yet dead, moving on was nearly impossible for inuyasha, and the manga makes it abundantly more clear. To be fáir to the animé, here are á few things thát I found théy did better. Koga slowly disappéars in the mánga, then its Iike he doesnt éxist.
